are we crazy?… probably
Today, Jaime had her glucose test and we are in our 24th week of the pregnancy. It’s crazy to think in just 16 short weeks (give or take a few) we will have another member of the family. This is quite overwhelming and exciting at the same time. We are also in the final design stages of our house re-model. We have been working with some great architects to get to this point (see pic above). The picture shows a view from the south and east. If everything goes on schedule we should be tearing stuff up around the first part of August. We are hoping to be back in our “new” home by November. But wait, aren’t you guys having a baby in October? Yes, we are. We are just crazy enough to completely remodel our house and welcome our first child into the world at the same time. We are so blessed to have Jaime’s mom just 50 yards to the south of us. We plan on moving in with her while our house goes through a complete makeover. Overall we will add about 1000 sq/ft to our humble farmhouse. We will be posting pictures of the whole process, so make sure and stop by often. Here’s to a crazy Fall at the Miller house. Bring it on.

I think it’s fabulous! Can’t wait to see the finished product. Don’t worry about everything not being finished when babe is born- we were all about doing crazy things right around the time Gab and Louise were born- moved 3 weeks after Gab was born and a month before Louise was born. With Alice, we didn’t follow our normal pattern and did the kitchen months before. You can do it!
